A must try summer time dessert, easy air fryer pineapple fritters topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with sweet caramel sauce! What more could your sweet tooth ask for? Fresh pineapple rings are coated in coconut flour and sweetened flakes then air fried until golden and perfect. They’re made in under 30 minutes and will surely be a dessert everyone can enjoy! Ingredients

  • Pineapple Rings – Either slice up a fresh pineapple or you can buy canned pineapple rings
  • Coconut Flour and Flakes – Sweetened coconut flakes and coconut flour coat each ring to give it that sweet, coconut flavor
  • Brown Sugar, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Salt – Combine these ingredients together and mix with the coconut flour
  • Egg – You’ll need to beat the egg in a bowl to dip in your pineapple rings
The ingredients needed are pineapple rings, coconut flour and flakes, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, egg and salt.

How To Make Air Fried Pineapple Fritters

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 310 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  2. If using a fresh pineapple, slice it up into rings and remove the core.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together coconut flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg.
  5. Pour the sweetened coconut flakes into a separate bowl.
  6. Pat dry the pineapple slices with a paper towel.
  7. Dip each pineapple ring in the egg first, allowing the excess to drip off.
  8. Now, dip the pineapple in the coconut flour mixture.
  9. Dip the pineapple back in the egg.
  10. Place the pineapple ring in the bowl with the sweetened coconut flakes. Really press the flakes into both sides of the pineapple rings so they stick well.
  11. Spray the inside of the air fryer with propellant free coconut oil spray.
  12. Transfer the pineapple fritters to the air fryer and air fry at 310 degrees F for 15-17 minutes, flipping halfway. Remove when golden brown.
  13. Top with vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce while still warm (optional).
