If you have never made a homemade strawberry Oreo milkshake before, don’t worry! This recipe will give you everything you need to make the best milkshake ever!
- Frozen Strawberries – You’re going to want to use frozen strawberries for the right consistency.
- Oreo Cookies– I find that using at least 1 cup of Oreo cookies balances this homemade milkshake perfectly with the strawberries.
- Whole Milk – Use whole milk for a creamy consistency.
- Strawberry & Vanilla Ice cream – I love a combination of strawberry and vanilla ice cream for this recipe.
How To Make Strawberry Oreo Milkshake
- First, start by roughly chopping the frozen strawberries and Oreo cookies. This step is optional but I find it’s much easier to blend all the ingredients together if you chop the strawberries and Oreos first. You can also buy the frozen strawberries already diced right here.
- Add the chopped Oreos and strawberries to the blender.
- Add in the whole milk, strawberry ice cream and vanilla ice cream.
- Blend all the ingredients together for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. How long you need to blend will vary based on the strength of the blender you are using.
- Finally, pour into glasses, top with whipped cream, sprinkles and fresh strawberries for garnishing and enjoy!
Optional Toppings For Your Milkshake

Storing Suggestions
This strawberry Oreo milkshake is best enjoyed when freshly made. However, you can store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
Tips & Variations
- Use fresh strawberries if you don’t have frozen on hand. I like the texture the frozen strawberries offer but it will still be just as tasty with fresh strawberries
- Use a powerful blender like this Instant Pot blender to make the blending process easier.
- Substitute the Oreo cookies for golden Oreos instead if you don’t care for chocolate Oreos.
