  • Place the catfish fillets, milk and 1 tbsp of lemon juice in a ziploc bag. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before air frying.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, combine the blackened seasoning and cayenne pepper.
  • Spray the inside of the air fryer with propellant free avocado oil spray.
  • Remove the catfish fillets from the refrigerator and transfer to a plate. Pat dry each fillet on both sides with paper towels.
  • Coat each fish fillet with the seasoning mix on both sides.
  • Transfer the catfish to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 20-22 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking process.
  • Melt the butter, chop and mince the parsley and garlic clove.
  • In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, parsley, garlic and 2 tsp of lemon juice.
  • Remove the blackened catfish fillets from the air fryer and serve with the lemon butter sauce.
