First, start by chopping and dicing your fresh strawberries and adding them to a bowl.
Next, add flour, sugar and vanilla extract to the bowl with the strawberries. Mix well to coat the strawberries in the mixture.
Grease your crockpot with non stick cooking spray.
In a separate bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk the ingredients together to break up any lumps from the flour.
Slice your butter in thin slices and set aside for now.
Next, add the strawberries to the crockpot then top them off evenly with the flour mixture.
Add the thinly sliced pieces of butter to the top of the flour mixture.
Double up a piece of paper towel and cover the crockpot with it. Then close the lid. The paper towel will catch any condensation.
Next, cook the strawberry cobbler in the crockpot for 3-3.5 hours or until golden. Alternatively, you can cook it on low for 6-6.5 hours. Change out the paper towel as needed.
Finally, serve warm with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
