First, start by unwrapping each piece of cheese. Remove the plastic and the wax. In a bowl, beat the eggs.
In a separate bowl, combine the Italian bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt, cayenne pepper, granulated garlic and parsley flakes. Mix everything together. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Dip the babybel cheese into the flour first and tap off any excess flour. Dip the cheese into the eggs.
Transfer the babybel to the Italian bread crumb mixture and coat it in the bread crumbs completely. Drench it once more in the egg and back into the bread crumbs. So you’ll need 2 coatings of eggs and bread crumbs.
Repeat these steps until you have finished coating each piece of babybel cheese.
Air fry at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Use tongs to remove them from the air fryer and transfer to a plate. Serve with marinara sauce while still hot and enjoy.
- Make sure to enjoy the cheese straight out of the air fryer. If it sits out for too long, it goes back to its’ original texture.
- Modify the seasoning quantities according to your taste.
- Use tongs to remove the cheese from the air fryer so you don’t burn yourself.
- There is no need to flip the cheese in the middle of the cooking process.
