First, start by making the cookie dough. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar.
Pour the vanilla extract into the mixer while mixing and add in 1 egg. Mix until fully combined.
Stop mixing and fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough using a spatula. Cover the cookie dough with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the fudge brownie. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a bowl, combine the egg, oil and water. Whisk together until combined.
Add the fudge brownie mix into the same bowl and whisk together until fully combined. You may also use a stand mixer if you’d like. Grease an 8×8 baking dish and pour in the brownie batter. Remove the cookie dough from the freezer and use a cookie scoop to drop about 2 tbsp at a time of cookie dough into the brownie batter.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or according to the instructions on the brownie mix package.
Finally, serve warm with a glass of milk and some vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
