Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries fresh

Instructions

  • First, start by preheating the air fryer to the lowest possible temperature for 5 minutes. Mine is able to go as low as 180 degrees F but I do know that some air fryers only go as low as 200 degrees F.
  • Wash and remove the stems from the strawberries and slice them into thin slices about 1/8 of an inch thick. Dry them with a paper towel.
  • Place the slices inside of the air fryer and cook at 180-200 degrees F for 1 hour. Flip them over after 30 minutes.
  • Remove them from the air fryer once the texture of the dehydrated strawberries resemble leather.
  • Use them to top off some of your favorite snacks or breakfast dishes and enjoy!

Notes

  • Some air fryers only go as low as 200 degrees F. If this is the case for you, make sure to check on the strawberries around the 45 minute mark.
  • Slice the strawberries to about 1/8 of an inch thick. Cut them as evenly as possible to ensure that they finish cooking at the same time.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may have to work in batches. Don’t over crowd the air fryer.
