First, start by cutting the tips off of the wings and separating the drums from the flats if desired. You may also cook them whole if you prefer.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Use a paper towel to pat dry the chicken wings.
In a bowl, combine the salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder and granulated garlic.
Season the chicken wings with half of the seasoning blend.
Mix together the flour and the rest of the seasoning blend.
Coat the chicken wings with the seasoned flour.
Spray the inside of the air fryer with non stick cooking spray. Transfer the wings to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 16 minutes, flipping half way. Check the temperature of the wings with a kitchen thermometer to ensure they are at least 165 degrees F before serving. Otherwise, continue cooking until done.
Finely mince the garlic cloves.
In a pot over medium high heat, combine the butter and garlic cloves. Saute for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
Pour in the honey and soy sauce. Mix everything together to combine.
Lower the heat to medium low and cook until the honey garlic sauce has thickened. This may take about 8-10 minutes.
Remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and toss in the honey garlic sauce.
Garnish with scallions or fresh parsley and serve immediately.
