Start by preheating the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to get it nice and hot. Slice the salami according to how thick you like your slices. Transfer the slices of salami to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, flipping half way. You may need additional time if you cut thicker slices, so just keep an eye on it and remove once they’re crispy. Transfer them to a paper towel lined plate and serve with mangu, queso frito and a fried egg. Or simply enjoy it on its’ own.
- Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer brand and how thick or thin the salami slices are. Keep an eye on it after 3-4 minutes to ensure it does not burn and add additional time as needed.
- The Induveca or Campesino brand will work well for this recipe.
- The salami is already cooked. Air frying it will just get it nice and crispy.
