Instructions

  • Start by preheating the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes to get it nice and hot.
  • Slice the salami according to how thick you like your slices.
  • Transfer the slices of salami to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 5-7 minutes, flipping half way. You may need additional time if you cut thicker slices, so just keep an eye on it and remove once they’re crispy.
  • Transfer them to a paper towel lined plate and serve with mangu, queso frito and a fried egg. Or simply enjoy it on its’ own.

Notes

  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer brand and how thick or thin the salami slices are. Keep an eye on it after 3-4 minutes to ensure it does not burn and add additional time as needed.
  • The Induveca or Campesino brand will work well for this recipe.
  • The salami is already cooked. Air frying it will just get it nice and crispy.
