Why Should You Air Fry Garlic Bread?
The answer is simple! The short answer is it’s easier and faster! Baked garlic bread can take 10 minutes or more depending on your oven. This air fryer garlic bread is ready in under 10 minutes! The next reason is, air fryers are so much easier to clean than an oven! Whenever I accidentally make a mess in my oven, I start thinking about how long it’s going to take me to clean it and how many cleaning products I’m going to have to use. All you have to do to clean an air fryer is remove the basket, clean with soap and water then dry completely!

Tips & Variations
- I use salted butter for this recipe but if you have unsalted butter on hand, just make sure to add salt.
- Always read your air fryer manual before using it. Keep in mind that cooking times may vary since there are so many different brands out there. I recommend keeping an eye on your garlic bread around the 5 minute mark to make sure it’s done to your liking. If it’s getting too crispy for you, you’ll have a chance to remove it at the perfect time!
- Make sure to use softened butter. You may want to remove the butter from the refrigerator air least 1 hour before making the garlic bread. Alternatively, you can let the butter sit in a bowl of warm water with the wrapper still on. Another method I’ve used to soften butter faster is microwaving it in 5 second increments until it’s soft enough to blend with other ingredients.
- I love dipping my garlic bread in warm marinara sauce! It’s even better homemade but if you don’t have time for that then definitely purchase a good quality jar of marinara sauce from the grocery store!
