If you’re still scratching your head about whether or not to buy an air fryer, then this Air Fryer Garlic Bread will definitely help you make the right decision! This garlic bread recipe is made with 8 inch French baguette loaves. The loaves are cut in half then topped off with a homemade garlic and herb butter that is out of this world! The bread is so buttery, crunchy and loaded with garlic flavor! I love serving garlic bread with this Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta or even this Instant Pot Chicken Gnocchi Soup!

Why Should You Air Fry Garlic Bread?

The answer is simple! The short answer is it’s easier and faster! Baked garlic bread can take 10 minutes or more depending on your oven. This air fryer garlic bread is ready in under 10 minutes! The next reason is, air fryers are so much easier to clean than an oven! Whenever I accidentally make a mess in my oven, I start thinking about how long it’s going to take me to clean it and how many cleaning products I’m going to have to use. All you have to do to clean an air fryer is remove the basket, clean with soap and water then dry completely!

Ingredients

  • French Baguette
  • Salted Butter
  • Fresh Parsley
  • Garlic Cloves
  • Fresh Rosemary

How To Make Air Fryer Garlic Bread

  1. First, start by slicing your French baguettes in half lengthwise. Make sure to use a serrated knife to properly cut the bread. Set it aside for now.
  2. Preheat the air fryer. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F for 3 minutes.
  3. Next, prepare the garlic herb butter. Chop the fresh parsley and rosemary. Finely mince the garlic cloves.
  4. Make sure to use softened butter for this recipe. In a small bowl, combine the butter, rosemary, parsley and minced garlic. Use a spoon to combine the butter with all the ingredients.
  5. Next, spread the garlic herb butter on top of each half of your baguette.
  6. Place the garlic bread inside the air fryer and air fry for 7 minutes at 350 degrees F. The bread will be nice and crispy. Knock off one minute if you like the bread a bit softer.
  7. Remove the garlic bread from the air fryer and serve with your favorite pasta or soup entree!

What Else Can I Make In My Air Fryer?

I’ve made so many recipes in my air fryer and I love them all! These Air Fryer Cornish Hens are probably at the top of my list! They’re marinated in lemon, butter and garlic so you can’t go wrong! My kids go crazy over these Air Fryer Easter Bunny Donuts and I use the same recipe when I want to make regular donuts or donuts for other holidays. Lastly, these Air Fryer Buttermilk Biscuits should be at the top of your list to make! They’re so convenient to make during the holidays because it will free up oven space for other dishes. I also serve them throughout the year whenever I make soup or chili!

Tips & Variations

  • I use salted butter for this recipe but if you have unsalted butter on hand, just make sure to add salt.
  • Always read your air fryer manual before using it. Keep in mind that cooking times may vary since there are so many different brands out there. I recommend keeping an eye on your garlic bread around the 5 minute mark to make sure it’s done to your liking. If it’s getting too crispy for you, you’ll have a chance to remove it at the perfect time!
  • Make sure to use softened butter. You may want to remove the butter from the refrigerator air least 1 hour before making the garlic bread. Alternatively, you can let the butter sit in a bowl of warm water with the wrapper still on. Another method I’ve used to soften butter faster is microwaving it in 5 second increments until it’s soft enough to blend with other ingredients.
  • I love dipping my garlic bread in warm marinara sauce! It’s even better homemade but if you don’t have time for that then definitely purchase a good quality jar of marinara sauce from the grocery store!
