How to Make Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers with Nutella and Strawberries
- First, start by cutting and dicing your strawberries into tiny pieces so they easily fit on top of your graham crackers.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Next, break your graham crackers in half and spread Nutella on each side.
- Add your diced strawberries to one of the graham crackers with Nutella. Then, take the Nutella graham cracker without strawberries and place it directly on top of the one that has the Nutella and strawberries on it. It should look like a cookie sandwich.
- Prepare the rest of your graham crackers the exact same way and line them up on top of your parchment paper.
- Next, in a microwave safe bowl big enough to fit the graham cracker sandwiches, pour your milk chocolate chips and microwave them in 30 second increments. Stir every 30 seconds until all chocolate chips are completely melted.
- Dip your graham cracker sandwiches into the melted chocolate and use a spoon to ensure all the sides are covered well and smooth out the top with the spoon. Place them all back on top of the parchment paper on the baking sheet.
- Place your chocolate covered graham crackers in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Next, remove them from the freezer.
- In 2 separate microwave safe bowls, heat up your white chocolate chips and pink candy melts in 30 second increments while stirring in between just as you did with the milk chocolate chips.
- Dip each lollipop stick into the melted pink candy melts and insert them in between the chocolate covered graham crackers. Make sure to insert them at least 3-4 inches in so they do not fall out.
- Next, dip a small whisk into the melted white chocolate chips and gently drizzle the white chocolate on top of the chocolate covered graham crackers to form a nice pattern. Once done, clean off the whisk, then do the same with the melted pink candy melts.
- Immediately sprinkle the top of each chocolate covered graham cracker with the heart sprinkles. Gently press down to ensure they stick to the melted chocolate drizzled on top.
- Finally, place back into the freezer for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until you are able to hold the lollipop sticks without the chocolate covered graham crackers falling off.
Tips and Variations for Making Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers with Nutella and Strawberries
- This is a fun holiday activity to do with the kids. There is no baking required and clean up is relatively easy. You can change up the candy melt colors and sprinkles to fit any other holiday theme you are celebrating.
- It is very important for the lollipop stick to set well in the freezer. Do not remove it too early on the second round, otherwise it will not hold up the weight of the chocolate covered graham crackers.
- Store for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or 3 months in the freezer in an air tight container.
