This copycat recipe for Domino’s marbled cookie brownie will surely become a family favorite.
I wanted to make this dessert as simple as possible so I used boxed brownie mix and a super easy homemade cookie dough recipe. - Brownie Mix – I used Duncan Hines Double Fudge brownie mix for this recipe.
- Oil – The oil is part of the ingredients needed to make the brownie.
- Water – Whisk the water together with the egg and oil to make the brownie.
- Eggs – You’ll need eggs for the brownie and for the cookie dough.
- Vanilla Extract – Add some vanilla extract to the cookie dough for a light, vanilla taste.
- Brown Sugar – Light brown sugar works best.
- Flour – Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Baking Powder – Helps the cookies fluff up nicely during the baking process of your cookie brownie.
- Salt – All you need is a pinch of salt.
- Butter – Cream together room temperature butter with brown sugar.
- Chocolate Chips – Fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
Drop 2 tbsp at a time of cookie dough into the fudge brownie batter and bake.
How To Make Domino’s Marbled Cookie Brownie
- First, start by making the cookie dough. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Pour the vanilla extract into the mixer while mixing and add in 1 egg. Mix until fully combined.
- Stop mixing and fold the chocolate chips into the cookie dough using a spatula.
- Cover the cookie dough with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the fudge brownie.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a bowl, combine the egg, oil and water. Whisk together until combined.
- Add the fudge brownie mix into the same bowl and whisk together until fully combined. You may also use a stand mixer if you’d like.
- Grease an 8×8 baking dish and pour in the brownie batter.
- Remove the cookie dough from the freezer and use a cookie scoop to drop about 2 tbsp at a time of cookie dough into the brownie batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or according to the instructions on the brownie mix package.
- Finally, serve warm with a glass of milk and some vanilla ice cream and enjoy.
What Kind Of Brownie Mix Should I Use?
You can use any boxed fudge brownie mix you’d like. For this Domino’s cookie brownie recipe, I used Duncan Hines double fudge brownie mix. It’s one of my favorites because the brownies come out super fudgy and gooey. It comes with a small packet of fudge that you mix into the batter so it’s one of my absolute favorites.
Storing Suggestions
Wrap leftover marbled cookie brownies with plastic wrap and store in an air tight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. You may also wrap and freeze the brownies in an air tight container for up to 3 months.
