- 12 oz red snapper fillets
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper or to taste
- 2 tbsp butter softened
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary chopped
- 2 sprigs fresh parsley chopped
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F. Chop and mince the garlic clove, fresh parsley and rosemary and set aside.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each piece of fish.
Pat dry the fish fillets with a paper towel.
Sprinkle salt and pepper on each red snapper fillet.
Transfer the fish to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until completely cooked through. There is no need to flip the fish. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic clove, chopped parsley and rosemary. Mix well to combine.
Remove the red snapper from the air fryer with a spatula so it doesn’t break apart and immediately top with homemade garlic herb butter. Serve and enjoy.
- Check for doneness by twisting a fork into the thicket part of the fillet. If the fish is flaky, it’s ready.
- Top with garlic herb butter straight out of the air fryer so the butter melts into the fish.
- Cooking times may vary depending on the power of the air fryer you’re using.
- Pat drying the fish before seasoning, will ensure the salt and pepper stick while preserving a mild fresh lemon juice flavor.
- Always read your air fryer manual before using it.
