  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F.
  • Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tuna steaks.
  • Pat dry the tuna with a paper towel then season on all sides with blackened seasoning.
  • Spray the inside of the air fryer with propellant-free cooking spray.
  • Transfer the tuna to the air fryer and cook at 375 degrees F for 4 minutes, flipping halfway with a spatula.
  • Remove from the air fryer, let it rest for a few minutes then top with green onions and serve.

Notes

  • This recipe is for medium-rare tuna. Adjust the cooking time to your preference.
  • Handle the fish with a spatula so it doesn’t break apart.
