First, start by seasoning the peeled and deveined shrimp or prawns with lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, fajita seasoning, smoked paprika and salt. Mix together to combine.
Next, chop the onion. Remove the seeds and chop the poblano pepper and bell peppers. Add the peppers and onions to the shrimp marinade and mix to coat everything with the marinade.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Add the shrimp, peppers and onions to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes. Open the air fryer and either shake the basket or give the ingredients a good mix half way through so they cook evenly.
Warm your tortillas either in the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 3-4 minutes or in the pan. I personally prefer warming them in a pan on the stove over medium high heat for about 2 minutes on each side.
Finally, serve the shrimp fajitas with sliced avocado, sour cream, fresh cilantro, fresh lime juice or any other topping of your choice.
