  • First, start by preheating the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • Grease the baking dish.
  • In a bowl combine the apple pie filling and apple pie spice and add it to the baking dish.
  • In a mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, brown sugar and butter.
  • Mix together until you have pea sized pieces of butter. This will be your crumble or crisp topping.
  • Spoon the crumble mixture over the apple pie filling in the baking dish.
  • Transfer to the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Remove from the air fryer and serve warm with some vanilla ice cream and a caramel drizzle.

  • This baking dish worked well for this recipe. I do have a 7 qt air fryer so just make sure that if you have a smaller one, you’re using a baking dish that fits and is deep enough to hold all of the ingredients.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer’s brand so check on it occasionally towards the end of the cooking process.
  • Use cold, unsalted butter.
  • Always read your air fryer’s manual before using it.
