Air fryer apple pie egg rolls make the perfect dessert for all of your sweet tooth needs!
Go crazy over these dessert egg rolls made right in the air fryer without all of the extra calories from deep frying. These apple pie egg rolls are made with Granny Smith apples that are stuffed into an egg roll then sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar and a little caramel sauce on the side for serving. My kids also love having them with ice cream. Can I Use Pre-Made Filling?
You can absolutely use pre-made apple pie filling to make these dessert egg rolls. It will definitely save you some time because you won’t have to cook the apples.
Where Can I Find Apple Pie Spice?
You can find apple pie spice at most grocery stores in the spice aisle or purchase it here. It is a very easy ingredient to locate especially around the fall season. Apple pie spice is a mixture of allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger and sometimes cardamom.
Can I Bake Or Fry These Instead?
You can certainly bake or fry any dessert egg roll if you don’t have an air fryer. I recommend taking a look at the recipe for my baked Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls because you’ll be able to apply the same cooking time to this recipe. If you’d rather deep fry the apple pie egg rolls, simply heat up about 4 inches of oil in a large pot to 360 degrees F. Fry for about 4 minutes flipping throughout the process to ensure even cooking.
