The trick is making sure the salami is very thinly sliced. I buy the packaged sliced salami from the grocery store but you can certainly slice it yourself if you prefer. How To Make Air Fryer Salami Chips
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes.
- Remove the salami slices from the package.
- Transfer the salami to the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees F for 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
- Pat dry the salami chips with the paper towel to remove any excess oil.
- Serve with your favorite dip and enjoy.
The only ingredient you will need is thinly sliced salami.
Transfer the slices to the air fryer but do not over crowd.
What Kind Of Salami Should I Use?
You can use any kind of salami you’d like. For this recipe, I used Fratelli Beretta Mount Olive salami which I found at my local grocery store. I like using this brand because it’s all natural without the added nitrates or nitrites as per the packaging.

- If the chips curl up during the cooking process, use the paper towel to flatten them out once again after they are done cooking. Do not use your bare hands because they will be very hot coming out of the air fryer.
- Don’t over crowd the air fryer and work in batches as needed.
