These Turkey Wings are baked to perfection with crispy skin and juicy meat on the inside! Put a spin on your Thanksgiving day and make these turkey wings instead of the entire traditional turkey! I promise, you will fall in love with them and wonder why you haven’t made them sooner! I love serving these with Arugula Avocado Salad with Homemade Lime Vinaigrette and sometimes with Air Fryer Buttermilk Biscuits! No matter how you choose to serve them, these turkey wings are sure to be a hit at your kitchen table!

What Is Jerk Seasoning?
Jerk seasoning is widely used in various dishes in the Jamaican culture. It’s made from a blend of spices, such as hot peppers, scallions, black pepper, onion, salt, all spice, nutmeg, cane sugar and thyme. I’ve found this to be the most common blend, although sometimes it does include parsley and garlic powder. Jerk seasoning packs a spicy kick but also has a light sweetness to it.
Ingredients
- Turkey Wings
- Jerk Seasoning
- Lime Juice
- Salt
- Ground Black Pepper
- Granulated Garlic
- Onion Powder
- Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- Oregano
- Green Scallions
How To Make Crispy Jerk Turkey Wings
- First, start by patting your turkey wings dry with a paper towel.
- Cut off the tip of the turkey wings if you don’t eat them or like them. Leave them on if they don’t really bother you at all.
- Next, in a large bowl, season with fresh lime juice, salt, ground black pepper, jerk seasoning, granulated garlic, onion powder, crushed red pepper flakes and oregano. Place in the fridge to marinate for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
- Remove them from the refrigerator and preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Next, prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the turkey wings on the parchment paper and top off with any remaining marinade from the bowl.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour uncover the turkey wings and bake at 425 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until the wings are completely cooked through.
- Broil for the last 3-5 minutes while keeping an eye on it.
- Finally, remove from the oven, top off with green scallions and enjoy!
Tips & Variations For Making Crispy Jerk Turkey Wings
- Use a meat thermometer to check whether the turkey wings are cooked through. The thermometer should read between 160-165 degrees F when inserted into the wings.
- I used store bought jerk seasoning but feel free to make your own at home! They’re very easy to find in most grocery stores but I’m sure homemade is even more delicious!
- Make sure you keep an eye on your turkey wings while they are broiling. You definitely don’t want to burn them but you want to ensure you reach your desired crispness.
- Baked jerk turkey wings are my absolute favorite! However, feel free to fry them or even grill them instead!
