How to Make Strawberry Blackberry Banana Smoothie

  1. First, start chopping off the leaves of the strawberries and pealing the banana.
  2. Next, add the strawberries, blackberries and banana to the blender.
  3. Pour in the almond milk and plain greek yogurt. I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk but you may use regular or any other kind of milk you have on hand.
  4. Next, add in 1 cup of ice. You may skip this step if using frozen fruits.
  5. Blend well for about 2 minutes or until all the ingredients are combined.
  6. Finally, serve cold and enjoy!

Can I Store My Strawberry Blackberry Banana Smoothie For Later?

You can definitely make this smoothie ahead of time to enjoy later on. I frequently make mine the night before so I can simply grab and go in the morning. Make sure it is in a glass container preferably with an air tight lid which helps to preserve the nutrients in the smoothie. Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 days maximum and in the freezer for up to 3 months for best results.

Tips & Variations

  • For this recipe, I did not add any additional sweeteners. The banana gave it just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. However, feel free to add some honey or sweetener of your choice if it’s not sweet enough for you.
  • I used almond milk because it’s usually what I have on hand. However, you may use oat milk, whole milk or really any other milk you have on hand for this recipe.
  • You may use frozen or fresh fruits to make your strawberry blackberry banana smoothie. I always use fresh fruits because I rarely have frozen on hand. But if you’re using frozen fruits that’s completely fine, simply omit the ice cubes. If the consistency of the smoothie is too thick for you when using frozen fruits, just add more milk until you reach the consistency that’s right for you!
