This Tres Leches Martini is the cocktail version of your favorite traditional Mexican dessert, the Tres Leches cake! Don’t get me wrong, you can certainly buy the Tres Leches Triple Cream Liqueur which is sold in most liquor stores. However, this homemade version is so delicious and easy to make! This dessert cocktail is one of those drinks you make when you’ve got friends or family coming over and want to make an impression. It’s basically your favorite dessert in a Martini glass! If you love Tres Leches cake as much as I do, make sure to try this Chocolate Tres Leches Cake and this Horchata Tres Leches Cake the next time you’re in the mood for something sweet.

How To Make Tres Leches Martini
- First, start by chilling your Martini glasses in the freezer for at least 30 minutes before preparing the Tres Leches cocktail.
- Next, in a cocktail shaker, add ice cubes, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream and pinnacle whipped vodka. Shake until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Remove your chilled glasses from the freezer and drizzle the inside of the glass with dulce de leche or caramel.
- Pour the Tres Leches liqueur into the martini glasses.
- Finally, top off with ground cinnamon if desired and make sure to drink responsibly!
Tips & Variations
- You may substitute the heavy cream for regular milk. I prefer using heavy cream because it gives the cocktail a creamy texture.
- Add whipped cream on top to make this Tres Leches liqueur taste even more like dessert. Drizzle the top of the whipped cream with even more dulce de leche if desired.
- If you’re in a rush or don’t feel like waiting 30 minutes to chill the glasses, you may skip this step.
- If your Tres Leches martini still isn’t cold enough, add a few ice cubes to your drink.
