Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 halibut fillets about 1/2 lb each
  • 2 tsp fajita seasoning or to taste
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • lemon juice optional for serving
  • fresh parsley optional for garnishing

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  • Pat dry each fillet with a paper towel.
  • Drizzle the fish with olive oil and season with fajita seasoning.
  • Spray the inside of the air fryer with a propellant free cooking spray.
  • Transfer the halibut fillets to the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees F for 6-7 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.

Notes

  • Check for doneness by inserting a kitchen thermometer into the thickest part of the fish. The internal temperature should read between 130-135 degrees F.
  • Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of your fillets and the type of air fryer you are using to cook.
  • Each fillet used for this recipe was approximately 1/2 lb.
