- 2 halibut fillets about 1/2 lb each
- 2 tsp fajita seasoning or to taste
- 2 tsp olive oil
- lemon juice optional for serving
- fresh parsley optional for garnishing
Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
Pat dry each fillet with a paper towel.
Drizzle the fish with olive oil and season with fajita seasoning. Spray the inside of the air fryer with a propellant free cooking spray. Transfer the halibut fillets to the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees F for 6-7 minutes or until cooked through.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.
- Check for doneness by inserting a kitchen thermometer into the thickest part of the fish. The internal temperature should read between 130-135 degrees F.
- Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of your fillets and the type of air fryer you are using to cook.
- Each fillet used for this recipe was approximately 1/2 lb.
