  • First, start by adding the coleslaw mix to a bowl. Make sure to rinse the slaw clean if it has not been thoroughly washed.
  • Mix in the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine all the ingredients together to fully incorporate.
  • Serve over pulled pork sandwiches, fish tacos or as a side dish to any meal.

Notes

  • If you’re planning on making your coleslaw ahead of time and freezing it, make sure to replace the mayonnaise with sour cream. This coleslaw is made with a mayonnaise based dressing and does not thaw very well.
  • If you’re serving this creamy coleslaw with a mild tasting dish, I recommend mincing 1 garlic clove and adding it to the coleslaw. It will add tons of flavor to your dish.
  • Add a pinch of hot sauce for a spicy coleslaw if you want to add a little kick.
