These melt in your mouth air fryer apple turnovers are made with just a handful of ingredients in under 15 minutes.
I truly live for easy, semi-homemade recipes. And if it involves my air fryer and some puff pastry, you can count me in! The last time I air fried puff pastry was when I made Air Fryer Toaster Strudel and it was an absolute hit. But, now that fall is here, I really wanted to make some delicious apple recipes and what better way to start than with these tasty air fryer turnovers packed with apple filling and topped with homemade vanilla icing. And since Halloween is around the corner, I strongly recommend saving this recipe for Air Fryer Twix Cupcakes because it’ll be a great way to use up leftover candy.

Let’s Talk About The Ingredients
- Puff Pastry Sheets – Thaw the puff pastry before starting.
- Canned Apple Pie Filling – I used canned because I wanted to make this recipe as easy as possible but you can make homemade filling if you prefer.
- Apple Pie Spice – Mix together the apple filling with apple pie spice.
- Egg – Beat the egg and water together to make egg wash.
Add the filling to each of the pastries and close by pressing together the opposite edges.
