This air fryer halibut recipe is made with 4 simple ingredients in under 10 minutes. These fillets are perfect for topping salads, making tacos or even sandwiches. The first time I tried halibut was at a restaurant but it was deep fried and crispy. It was definitely delicious but I wanted to make my own healthier version at home with no breading and air frying them seemed like a good plan. Ingredients

  • Halibut Fillets – Fresh or frozen fillets work well for this air fryer halibut recipe.
  • Fajita Seasoning – Coat the fish with fajita seasoning before air frying.
  • Olive Oil – Drizzle olive oil over each fillet.
  • Lemon Juice – Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish for serving.
  • Fresh Parsley – Adds a little color and flavor but it is completely optional.
The ingredients needed for this recipe are halibut fillets, lemon juice, olive oil and fajita seasoning.

Season the fillets and drizzle with olive oil before transferring to the air fryer to cook.

How To Make Air Fryer Halibut

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat dry each fillet with a paper towel.
  3. Drizzle the fish with olive oil and season with fajita seasoning.
  4. Spray the inside of the air fryer with a propellant free cooking spray.
  5. Transfer the halibut fillets to the air fryer and cook at 350 degrees F for 6-7 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fish and garnish with fresh parsley before serving if desired.
This healthy halibut recipe is made with no breading and is low carb and keto friendly.

  • Check for doneness by inserting a kitchen thermometer into the thickest part of the fish. The internal temperature should read between 130-135 degrees F.
