This easy air fryer Mahi Mahi recipe is made with just 3 simple ingredients. Serve Mahi Mahi fish in a taco or enjoy a low carb meal by making this homemade Mango Habanero Salsa to have on the side. An Explanation Of The Ingredients Used

  • Mahi Mahi Fish – Fresh or frozen Mahi Mahi fillets will work just fine for this recipe.
  • Fajita Seasoning – Use store bought fajita seasoning or make your own with a combination of spices that I included in the notes.
  • Lime Juice – Use freshly squeezed lime juice for best results.

How To Make Air Fryer Mahi Mahi

  1. First, start by preheating the air fryer to 380 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  2. Pat dry the Mahi Mahi fillets with a paper towel.
  3. In a bowl, season the Mahi Mahi with fajita seasoning making sure to coat it on all sides with the seasoning.
  4. Spray the inside of the air fryer with non stick cooking spray. This avocado oil cooking spray works very well.
  5. Place the fillets inside the preheated air fryer and air fry at 380 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Finally, remove the Mahi Mahi fillets from the air fryer and squeeze with fresh lime juice.
  7. Serve with veggies, rice and homemade Mango Habanero Salsa.

Storing Suggestions

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an air tight container for up to 4 days. You can also freeze cooked Mahi Mahi in an air tight container for up to 30 days.

Tips & Variations

  • If you can’t find fajita seasoning at the store, you can purchase it here. You can also make your own fajita seasoning by mixing together 2 tsp of chili powder, 1 tsp of ground cumin, 1 tsp of paprika, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  • Check the Mahi Mahi fillets for doneness at the 8 minute mark. The fillets should flake easily with a fork. if they’re not done, continue cooking until they’re ready.
  • Substitute lime juice for lemon juice if you prefer.
