This Key Lime Margarita reminds me of a delicious Key Lime Pie! Yummy! Seriously though, I live in Florida and it’s summer year round here. We drink this any day of the week, but this is especially great for that Friday night happy hour after a long, exhausting day! You know exactly what I mean! I know you’ll enjoy this recipe, as well as some of my other recipes, such as this Easy Papaya Smoothie and Guava Cheesecake because they are just as decadent as this Key Lime Margarita!

How to Make Key Lime Margarita
- First, start off but crushing your graham crackers for the rim of your cup. You can either use a food processor or place the graham crackers into a zip loc bag and crush using a rolling pin. Place your crushed graham crackers into a plate that will allow you to dip your glasses into later.
- Next, use a key lime to rim your Margarita glass and squeeze the juices around the rim.
- Dip your Margarita glass into the crushed graham crackers.
- Second, add the ice cubes into each one of your Margarita glasses.
- In a cocktail shaker or large measuring cup, add your tequila blanco, freshly squeezed key lime juice, triple sec, agave syrup, and sweetened condensed milk. Shake well or mix, if using a measuring cup, for about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour your Key Lime Margarita Mixture into your Margarita glasses over the ice cubes you prepared earlier.
- Serve cold and enjoy!
Tips & Variations for Making Key Lime Margarita
- Rimming your glasses with the graham cracker mixture is completely optional. You may serve these Key Lime Margaritas as is without rimming the glasses. I do enjoy the sweetness of the graham crackers, so I never skip this step.
- If you don’t have or can’t find sweetened condensed milk, don’t panic! Just substitute it with more agave syrup to make up for the measurements of the sweetened condensed milk you are missing.
- This recipe makes 2 servings. However, feel free to double or even triple this recipe if you are serving it to a crowd!
- Remember to ALWAYS drink responsibly!
