- Cajun Seasoning – Sprinkle cajun seasoning all over the fish before cooking
- Butter – Pan sear the salmon fillets in butter before adding to the salad
- Lettuce, Shredded Carrots, Red Onions – Put the salar ingredients together before cooking the salmon
How To Make Spicy Cajun Salmon Salad
- Begin by making this homemade spicy cajun salad dressing or you can buy this store bought version instead (it might be the closest I’ve found) but I promise you the homemade version will not disappoint
- In a bowl, season the salmon with fresh lime juice and cajon seasoning on all sides
- In a pan, heat up the butter at medium high heat
- Place the salmon in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on both sides or until fully cooked, browned and flakey
- In a plate, assemble the lettuce, shredded carrots and sliced red onions
- Cut the salmon into pieces and top off the salad with the salmon
- Serve with the homemade cajun salad dressing and enjoy
