Make this simple spicy cajun salmon salad in under 20 minutes. This fresh salad recipe is keto friendly and low carb, perfect for the summer time. I topped everything off with a homemade spicy cajun salad dressing recipe, and it was absolutely delicious. You can really feel the heat so if you like spicy, this recipe is for you. Ingredients

  • Salmon – 2 fresh or frozen salmon fillets will work for this recipe
  • Spicy Cajun Salad Dressing – you can make this fresh or buy the store bought version here
  • Cajun Seasoning – Sprinkle cajun seasoning all over the fish before cooking
  • Butter – Pan sear the salmon fillets in butter before adding to the salad
  • Lettuce, Shredded Carrots, Red Onions – Put the salar ingredients together before cooking the salmon

How To Make Spicy Cajun Salmon Salad

  1. Begin by making this homemade spicy cajun salad dressing or you can buy this store bought version instead (it might be the closest I’ve found) but I promise you the homemade version will not disappoint
  2. In a bowl, season the salmon with fresh lime juice and cajon seasoning on all sides
  3. In a pan, heat up the butter at medium high heat
  4. Place the salmon in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes on both sides or until fully cooked, browned and flakey
  5. In a plate, assemble the lettuce, shredded carrots and sliced red onions
  6. Cut the salmon into pieces and top off the salad with the salmon
  7. Serve with the homemade cajun salad dressing and enjoy

  • Make sure to thoroughly cook the salmon until flaky and browned on the outside
  • Make the cajun salad dressing homemade or purchase the store bought version here
  • I used green leaf lettuce for this recipe, but you can make it your own and add any additional toppings or use any kind of lettuce you’d like
