Ingredients
- Pumpkin Puree – Canned pumpkin puree works for this recipe, or you can always spend the time making it fresh if you prefer.
- Flour, Baking Powder, Brown Sugar, Pumpkin Pie Spice and Salt – Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl before mixing in the wet ingredients later on.
- Egg, Vanilla Extract, Milk and Butter – Melt the butter and beat the egg before combining the ingredients to make the fritter batter.
- Cinnamon Sugar – For rolling the pumpkin fritters in once they are done air frying.
How To Make Air Fried Pumpkin Fritters
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt and pumpkin pie spice.
- In a separate bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, egg, milk and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together to form the pumpkin fritter batter.
- Spray the inside of the air fryer with propellant free coconut oil spray.
- Use a 2 tbsp cookie scoop to scoop out each fritter and place in the air fryer.
- Air fry at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove from the air fryer and give each fritter a quick spray with the propellant free coconut oil spray so the cinnamon sugar sticks well to the fritters.
- Roll each pumpkin fritter in cinnamon sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving (optional).
